ABOUT EVANGELIST MCKOY - Evangelist Mickell McKoy was born and raised in St Mary, Jamaica to Sherese Mckoy and Evadney Armstrong. He has 8 siblings — 5 sisters and 4 brothers Mickell began his singing career as a reggae artist in Jamaica. After migrating to the USA in 1996, Mickell began the journey of accepting his Lord, Jesus Christ, into his heart. While driving home one night, Mickell heard a voice asking, "who is keeping you?" Like Paul on the road to Damascus, Mickell heard the Lord's voice on that lonely highway. The question swelled his heart with an outpouring of a spirit filled with love and in that moment, Mickell realized he needed to be baptized. Mickell was born again and became an active member of the Cambridge Community Outreach Tabernacle in 1999. After years of contemplation and study, Mickell was ordained an Evangelist in 2005.
He and is wife Marica Mckoy have been together for 23 years and are the proud parents of five children — Charrise, Hevroy, Kaydeann, Danilsh, and Gabrielle.
In his own journey to seek out God's heart, Mickell celebrates that he sees God's Kingdom alive and at work in everyone's life! Mickell relies on God's direction and love daily as he brings God's message to us through his words and songs of praise. Mickell's words of praise and songs of worship remind us he uses the gifts afforded him by making a joyful noise unto the Lord!
